Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team! The coordinator's ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in social media content creation and management, graphic design experience, and a passion for producing engaging content. We are a high-growth aesthetics business, so previous experience in this space is a plus. We are looking for someone who can generate engaging and influential content while also administering our social media accounts.

The coordinator will be responsible for creating an engaging content calendar, building original text, image, and video content, distributing, and managing posts, and engaging the community with consistent and personable community management skills. The coordinator will ensure our company image is presented in a cohesive way to enhance Customer Experience and support marketing goals. The coordinator will embrace change and lean into the latest digital technologies and social media trends. This person will manage the schedule of marketing events both internal and external. The coordinator will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to express our company’s views in an inclusive and creative way, driving traffic, and patient engagement. Responsibilities

  • Marketing and social media management

  • Design social media strategies to achieve marketing objectives

  • Create, manage, and publish original, high-quality content including print materials

  • Create GIFs, still images, and video content

  • Edit video content for effective use in social media channels

  • Work with internal teams to gather and organize creative assets

  • Copywriting (headlines and body copy)

  • Conduct research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, contextualizing your findings for the greater team

  • Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems

  • Develop a content calendar with flexibility for additional real-time posts

  • Manage responses on social media pages (community management)

  • Facilitate company communication (respond to queries, get reviews, and organize chats and Q&A sessions)

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and social media ROI

  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and provide content optimization recommendations

  • Train internal teams to support an integrated and cohesive social media strategy for brand consistency

  • Stay up to date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

  • Research industry trends and implement social content

  • Respond to social media and online inquiries

  • Update website and manage website content

  • Suggest new ways to promote company offerings and engage consumers

Content Creator Requirements & Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Canva

  • Microsoft Office

  • Email Marketing

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a social media strategist or social media manager

  • Hands-on experience using social media to drive brand awareness

  • Graphic design experience in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

  • An ability to identify target audience segments and build content to delight them

  • Familiarity with web design and publishing

  • Excellent multi-tasking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong listening and communication skills

  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively

  • Professional experience with Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, and TikTok

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: Starting $25/hour
