Established in 2019 by Kristin Hegge, RN, BSN and Kristen Hammes APRN, CANS, these two confident specialists have combined their expertise to create customizable treatment plans with a wide selection of procedure and product options. These options range from Botox, filler, microneedling, laser, and a range of other aesthetic treatments from our medspa in Elkhorn, NE.

Kristin Hegge has been a Registered Nurse for 25 years with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has spent the last 16 years in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics including 3 years in the Operating Room, PACU, and Clinical Areas of the Plastic Surgery Department, and the past 13 years focused exclusively on the Aesthetics/Med Spa side of the industry. This dual experience and knowledge combination gives Kristin a distinct edge and the ability to provide comprehensive consultations and recommendations for each client’s unique aesthetic needs.
Kristin’s goal is to provide her clients with the most advanced and safe procedures and products to achieve their specific goals. This approach applies to Kristin’s expertise in Botox, Dermal Fillers, IPL, and skincare products. She has and continues to receive extensive training from experts in this ever-changing field, enabling her to perform the leading facial and aesthetic procedures with the highest standards of care and results.
Away from the office, Kristin loves to travel, read and spend time with friends and family. She and her husband, Brandon, have two children, Anna and Jake, and a beloved Basset Hound named Stella.

Kristen is a Board Certified Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in nursing by working in the Intensive Care Unit in Evansville, IN. Since that time she has logged nearly 29 years of experience in various areas of nursing including PACU, teaching, cardiology, ED, and most recently aesthetic medicine. In addition to extensive clinical expertise, Kristen also has a comprehensive academic background that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (1994) and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the Adult Health Nurse Practitioner Program (2001) both from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Kristen’s combination of clinical education and experience provides a strong foundation to allow her to excel in aesthetics. She obtained her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) designation in 2014. She has been a trainer for Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) for the past five years. She enjoys educating other healthcare professionals about proper techniques and the newest injectable trends. She has been invited to lecture many times in the community and medical settings.
Outside of work, Kristen likes to spend time exercising and traveling with family and friends. She especially likes the beach and scuba diving. She also enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains. She and her husband, Tim, keep busy with their girls Megan and Mallory.

Patty has been a registered nurse for the past 16 years. She has worked in Aesthetic Nursing for the past 9 years and brings unique experience as she has worked in all areas of the field. She loves injecting and helping her clients achieve natural results. Patty is great at listening to her patient's concerns and addressing them individually to achieve a customized treatment plan specific to their needs. She has received training from experts in the field of Aesthetics and continues to keep current on the latest trends in the field.
Patty enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.

Jodie Armstrong is a registered nurse and licensed esthetician with over 10 years’ experience in the esthetic industry. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Newman University (Wichita, Kansas), she began her career in the Operating Room. After a short time, Jodie realized that aesthetics were her true calling and, after moving to Omaha, returned to academic life to earn her Esthetician’s License. Through this new career path, Jodie has found the opportunities to connect with her patients and raise their sense of confidence and pride.
Jodie’s natural empathy and compassion allow her to understand her client’s concerns and goals. Her extensive experience and continued training in Botox, dermal fillers, SkinPen and a variety of laser treatments, provide the skill and insight required to enhance her patients’ lives through personalized treatment plans designed to achieve specific results. Jodie not only strives for excellence but also creates a supportive, compassionate environment that puts her patients at ease.
Jodie and her husband, Jeff, stay busy at home with their daughter, Noelle, one dog and two cats. She finds joy in life’s simple experiences – traveling, good food and the company of loved ones. She always sees the beauty in the world and endeavors to shine light on the beauty she sees.

Megan Mertz is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She began her nursing career at Nebraska Medicine in 2014 and transitioned to the Emergency Department shortly thereafter. She obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She currently works full-time as an Orthopedic Surgery NP and an Aesthetic NP here at A⋅dore.
Having extensive education and clinical experience, Megan is excited to provide high-quality care for clients to be their best selves. Megan strives for natural, transformative results. She loves customizing well-rounded treatment plans for her clients and enhancing each client’s unique features. She is continually pursuing further education and growing her skills. She loves spending time with her clients and has a passion for promoting autonomy and optimal outcomes.
Megan loves spending time outdoors and on the water with family and friends. She is passionate about a healthy lifestyle involving fitness, cooking, and staying active. You’ll catch her outside surfing, running, or hiking. Megan enjoys spending her time helping others and staying busy within our community.

Kayti Bowling has been a registered Nurse for 19 years with a degree from Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln NE. She spent 4 years as a Telemetry nurse and 3 years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Nebraska Medicine. During her years at Nebraska Medicine, she also worked in the home health field specializing in infusions, chemotherapy and blood draws. Kayti has spent the last 12 years as an aesthetic nurse at Dreams Med Spa specializing in a variety of aesthetic services.
Kayti focuses on making each person feel valued and heard during her comprehensive consultation and prides herself on creating a unique and natural treatment plan for each individual client. Her experiences have provided a wealth of knowledge in Neurotoxins, Derma fillers, Lasers, skinpen, skincare products and much more. Kayti is always seeking educational opportunities to grow professionally and to continue providing the safest and best outcomes for her clients.
Outside of work Kayti enjoys spending time with family and friends, Husker tailgates and taking lots of pictures! Her and her husband Jon spend most of their weekends traveling for youth sports and dance with their 4 kids, Mia (17), Zoey (15), Walker (12) and Tatum (9). Kayti is excited to meet you!

Mel Dresden is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare. She has experience in ER/acute medicine, surgery, regenerative therapies, functional medicine, hormones, and ENT. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, MA. Her love and passion are everything health, wellness, and nutrition. She specializes in balancing hormones, peptides, vitamins, anti-aging, and weight management. She is certified in hormone pellet therapy. She is a certified Kion Coach, coaching and guiding patients to weight loss, anti-aging strategies, and health optimization across the U.S. and internationally.

Heather is a licensed skin care specialist that brings years of aesthetics knowledge and expertise to our team.

With 10 years of combined Aesthetic experience as a professional aesthetician and receptionist in Omaha, Danica Knapp was welcomed into the a.dore medspa family in 2022. As the backbone of our medspa, Danica keeps everything running smoothly around the office while facilitating and fostering lasting customer relationships.
From her years of experience running an office, Danica flourishes in an environment where every day has new tasks to complete and new challenges to solve. With her eye for detail and mind focused on organization and efficiency, she’s everyone's right-hand woman.
Danica’s goal is to provide the best customer experience with every kind, welcoming smile that exemplifies the comfort we want every customer to feel when they visit. Not only does she go out of her way for customers, she ensures that every nurse has the support and resources they need to make all aspects of their day as seamless as possible.
When Danica isn’t with her a.dore family, you’ll likely find her with her own. Her two daughters, Harley and Logan keep her busy while she also enjoys spending time with friends around a carefully crafted charcuterie board.
