Established in 2019, a·dore aesthetics & medspa provides advanced aesthetic and wellness services in Elkhorn and West Omaha. Our team brings decades of aesthetic nursing and esthetician experience to deliver safe, natural-looking results through personalized treatment plans and thoughtful care.
We offer a wide range of aesthetic and wellness services, including Botox, fillers, SkinPen microneedling, RF microneedling, mesoneedling, laser hair removal, IPL, laser resurfacing, tattoo removal, Hydrafacial, red light therapy, chemical peels, brow and lash services, waxing, medical-grade skincare, Omnilux LED masks, peptides, vitamins, supplements, and IV therapy.
a·dore aesthetics & medspa was founded in 2019 by Kristin Hegge, RN, BSN, and, is owned by Kristin and Kristen Hammes, APRN, CANS, who have combined their expertise, vision, and passion for aesthetics to create a medspa centered on safe care, natural-looking results, and personalized treatment plans.
With decades of nursing and aesthetic experience, Kristin and Kristen built a·dore to offer patients advanced services, trusted skincare, and an elevated experience rooted in professionalism, education, and compassion.

Kristin Hegge, RN, BSN, is the founder and co-owner of a.dore aesthetics & medspa, bringing over 21 years of experience in aesthetic nursing. Known for her refined, natural aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail, Kristin blends advanced clinical expertise with an artistic eye to deliver results that are balanced, refreshed, and uniquely tailored to each patient. Her leadership has shaped a.dore into a trusted destination for elevated, results-driven aesthetic care.
Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her career in emergency and plastic surgery before transitioning exclusively into aesthetics in 2004. She is extensively trained in full-face balancing, lip artistry, biostimulators, laser resurfacing, and advanced skin rejuvenation techniques. Kristin has completed advanced trainings with leading aesthetic brands including Allergan and Galderma, and is certified in SkinPen microneedling. Her comprehensive approach focuses on both immediate enhancement and long-term skin health, ensuring natural, lasting results.
As a passionate leader and educator, Kristin is committed to excellence not only in her own work, but within her entire team. Many of a.dore’s injectors have worked together for years, creating a collaborative environment grounded in experience, trust, and consistency. With over a century of combined nursing experience, Kristin ensures her team remains at the forefront of the industry through ongoing education, advanced training, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Outside of the medspa, Kristin enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Brandon, their children Anna and Jake.

Kristen is a Board-Certified Adult Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly three decades of clinical experience and advanced expertise in aesthetic medicine.
Her career began in the Intensive Care Unit in Evansville, Indiana, where she developed a strong foundation in patient safety, precision, and complex medical care. Over the years, she has practiced in a variety of specialties including PACU, cardiology, emergency medicine, and academic instruction before focusing her career on aesthetic medicine.
Kristen earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from the Adult Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her extensive medical background, combined with a meticulous attention to detail, allows her to deliver sophisticated aesthetic treatments that prioritize safety, balance, and naturally beautiful results.
In 2014, Kristen achieved the distinguished Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) designation, demonstrating advanced knowledge and clinical excellence in aesthetic medicine. She has also served as a national trainer for the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) since 2016, where she has completed more than 700 individual and group trainings for healthcare providers. Kristen is widely respected for her expertise in facial anatomy, advanced injection techniques, and commitment to elevating standards in aesthetic practice.
Kristen believes aesthetic medicine should enhance a patient’s natural beauty while preserving their unique features. She takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to treatment planning and is dedicated to helping patients feel confident, refreshed, and empowered.
Outside of the practice, Kristen enjoys an active lifestyle that includes travel, scuba diving, hiking, and skiing. She especially loves time at the beach and exploring the outdoors with family and friends. Kristen and her husband, Tim, have two daughters, Megan and Mallory.

Megan Mertz is a Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, earned in 2019. Specializing in medical weight loss and holistic health, Megan is a dedicated advocate for all things health and wellness.
She has a background in emergency medicine and orthopedics, but her passion lies in aesthetic medicine. With over three years of experience in aesthetics, Megan is committed to providing high-quality care that empowers clients to feel confident and achieve their best selves. She takes pride in delivering natural results through personalized and well-rounded treatment plans that align with each individual's goals.
Megan’s approach integrates evidence-based medical strategies with a focus on healthy lifestyles, fitness, and nutrition. She is passionate about helping her patients build sustainable habits that enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.
Outside of her professional life, Megan loves being active and spending time outdoors. Whether she’s engaging in fitness activities, enjoying time with friends and family, or loving on her Frenchie, Bean, Megan embodies the vibrant and balanced lifestyle she encourages in her patients.

Kayti Bowling has been a Registered Nurse for 21 years with a degree from Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln NE. She spent 4 years as a Telemetry nurse and 3 years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Nebraska Medicine. During her years at Nebraska Medicine, she also worked in the home health field specializing in infusions, chemotherapy and blood draws. Kayti has spent the last 14 years as an aesthetic nurse specializing in a variety of aesthetic services.
Kayti focuses on making each person feel valued and heard during her comprehensive consultation and prides herself on creating a unique and natural treatment plan for each individual client. Her experiences have provided a wealth of knowledge in Neurotoxins, Derma fillers, Lasers, skinpen, skincare products and much more. Kayti is always seeking educational opportunities to grow professionally and to continue providing the safest and best outcomes for her clients.
Outside of work Kayti enjoys spending time with family and friends, Husker tailgates and taking lots of pictures! Her and her husband Jon spend most of their weekends traveling for youth sports and dance with their 4 kids, Mia, Zoey, Walker and Tatum. Kayti is excited to meet you!

Jodie Armstrong is a registered nurse and licensed esthetician with over 10 years’ experience in the aesthetic industry. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Newman University (Wichita, Kansas), she began her career in the Operating Room. After a short time, Jodie realized that aesthetics were her true calling and, after moving to Omaha, returned to academic life to earn her Esthetician’s License. Through this new career path, Jodie has found the opportunities to connect with her patients and raise their sense of confidence and pride.
Jodie’s natural empathy and compassion allow her to understand her client’s concerns and goals. Her extensive experience and continued training in Botox, dermal fillers, SkinPen and a variety of laser treatments, provide the skill and insight required to enhance her patients’ lives through personalized treatment plans designed to achieve specific results. Jodie not only strives for excellence but also creates a supportive, compassionate environment that puts her patients at ease.
Jodie and her husband, Jeff, stay busy at home with their children, Noelle and Owen, one dog and two cats. She finds joy in life’s simple experiences – traveling, good food and the company of loved ones. She always sees the beauty in the world and endeavors to shine light on the beauty she sees.

Patty has been a registered nurse for the past 16 years. She has worked in Aesthetic Nursing for the past 9 years and brings unique experience as she has worked in all areas of the field. She loves injecting and helping her clients achieve natural results. Patty is great at listening to her patient's concerns and addressing them individually to achieve a customized treatment plan specific to their needs. She has received training from experts in the field of Aesthetics and continues to keep current on the latest trends in the field.
Patty enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.

Heather is a licensed skin care specialist that brings years of aesthetics knowledge and expertise to our team.
Contrary to popular belief, skin care is not one size fits all. Heather specializes in tailoring the needs of her clients to empower them to feel their best in the skin they are in. Whether it’s genetics, environmental exposure, lifestyle choices, hormones, or health, Heather will work with you to find what is best for you using the combined benefits of enzymes, acids, HydraFacial, and dermaplaning to customize the approach best suited to your individual needs.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, four daughters, and two grandsons. She also enjoys traveling, playing with her fur babies, and spending time with friends.

Stephanie is a licensed esthetician with 13 years of experience. Stephanie specialized in chemical peels, Hydrafacials, and dermaplanes. She enjoys helping others feel good about themselves. Stephanie strives to find the best treatments for the results you are trying to achieve.
When not at work, Stephanie is busy with her three kids, Adrianna, Natalia and Jalen.

With 10 years of combined Aesthetic experience as a professional aesthetician and receptionist in Omaha, Danica Knapp was welcomed into the a.dore medspa family in 2022. As the backbone of our medspa, Danica keeps everything running smoothly around the office while facilitating and fostering lasting customer relationships.
From her years of experience running an office, Danica flourishes in an environment where every day has new tasks to complete and new challenges to solve. With her eye for detail and mind focused on organization and efficiency, she’s everyone's right-hand woman.
Danica’s goal is to provide the best customer experience with every kind, welcoming smile that exemplifies the comfort we want every customer to feel when they visit. Not only does she go out of her way for customers, she ensures that every nurse has the support and resources they need to make all aspects of their day as seamless as possible.
When Danica isn’t with her a.dore family, you’ll likely find her with her own. Her two daughters, Harley and Logan keep her busy while she also enjoys spending time with friends around a carefully crafted charcuterie board.

Jenny joined the a·dore team in 2023, bringing her passion for education, organization, and attention to detail into the practice. As a nurse educator, she focuses on both patient and nurse education, along with supporting best practices, guideline compliance, and effective processes.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education. She began her nursing career at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, where she worked for ten years on the Medical/Oncology/Stroke Unit. She then served as a school nurse in the Scottsbluff and Gering School districts for seven years.
As a Nebraska Career and Technical Educator, Jenny taught Health Science courses at the Scottsbluff High School Career Academy and Western Nebraska Community College for seven years. During that time, she also served as the HOSA Future Health Professionals Chapter Advisor and continues to support students through her role on the State of Nebraska HOSA Board of Directors. She currently instructs Basic Nursing Assistant courses at the Omaha Public Schools Career Center.
Through her work at a·dore, Jenny has developed a strong appreciation for the impact of medical-grade skincare and how consistent skincare enhances the results of aesthetic treatments.
Outside of a·dore, Jenny’s favorite place to be is with family and friends.
